I could see Nick C. on the Marlins next year. They bring him "home," they don't have much of a DH right now

Trying to think differently, I wonder if there may be any possibility that Riley Greene would be traded this offseason. A team looking for power or LH power in particular, and that can deal with the Ks, could be interested. I don't think Riley's long-term is in the OF. He looks like he's stepping in mud when he runs. He may be a 1B within a few years. Would it blow a hole in the lineup? Kinda. That depends on what comes back in return, and what else the Tigers could do to bolster the team with an OF spot to work with.

I wonder who Arizona wanted. pretty much any of the Tigers controllable players performed better than Suarez did down the stretch

I think that if they want to make a push, CF is a good place to look for an upgrade. I can't say that I have somebody in mind, but getting more out of CF would help a lot

I don't think Mariners v. Skubal is a big enough sample to even think about regression to the mean in any meaningful way
