  1. +900 on Biden is a great bet. Love those odds.
  2. Don’t get mad at the congressman. He’s just doing his job of taking money from a special interest to advance their agenda. Be mad at who’s paying him.
  3. He was definitely tired of being called a bed wetter. I think we can all agree that a bed ****ter is worse than a bed wetter. Much worse actually. Is there another level of paranoia that one could reach to hit bed ****ter status? How bad would that have to be?
  4. Paul is probably long on the entire mental fitness sector.
  5. I absolutely am. My goal next season is 25 games. They need to jack up more 3’s to do it. These guys can help. I expect a few more meh signings coming that Del and yourself will hate.
  6. Exactly this. They also can’t shoot the fewest 3’s in the league again. He and THJ should help in that category.
  7. I don’t get the love for Quentin Grimes. He’s a young player that probably has some value with a stronger established roster where he can be asked to play a complementary role around better players. I don’t see how he would excel with this Pistons team that would probably ask him to do way too much.
  8. Looks like it’s time for Vegas to start retooling the group that got them on the map. Marchesault, Carrier, Stephenson, Martinez all headed other places today. I’d say the bill always comes due but knowing these guys they’ll find a way to make a splash signing somewhere.
  9. There are a lot of overpays and extra years but the cap keeps going up and buyout options do exist down the road. They have the cap space to make some moves so I’d rather a slight overpay that sit around and watch everyone else get better.
  10. Maybe Stevie has a big trade that nobody saw coming in his back pocket.
  11. Nashville also re-signed Saros for 8/$7.5 a few days ago. Crazy.
  12. I am hoping that justice will prevail but our new reality has me expecting 6-3 for immunity.
  13. I sort of understand this rational to not talk about when it comes to media influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers that could actually impact public opinion. This is a Detroit sports message board with 265 members, most of which don’t even bother with the politics forum. We can talk about hypotheticals without effecting the election. Btw, I’m sorry about your uncle.
  14. No way that he can turn this down with his injury history. Too much money.
  15. Another rough day for two of the PGA’s young talented stars. Akshay Bhatia can’t close for the second week in a row. This time Rorying a 4 footer to force playoff Cam Young has so much game in the bag but lacking the mental side. There’s a reason he’s a 7time runner up that’s looking for his first win. He hit a bad drive with the lead on 14 and breaks his driver in a fit of rage and had to finish without it. He was +2 after that and finished tied for 6th. On a positive the course at Detroit Golf Club looked great and played harder than the course at the Signature event at the Travelers last week.
  16. I think this makes them the team to beat in the East now. Interested to see how Boston counters. Maybe try to coax Blake Griffin out of retirement.
  17. It was hyperbole but a 10 point debate poll could happen. Polls aren’t reliable anymore. Anyone can a buy one to say whatever they want.
  18. The issue isn’t the debate. It has nothing to do with who won or lost or any of the points or policy discussed. It’s about something concerning that happened with a candidate that just happened to take place at the debate.
  19. Trump was awful. I bet Biden would’ve gained maybe as many 10 points in the polls had he not had those moments in the first 30 minutes. It definitely hurt him.
  20. I don’t know if he is or not. We are just discussing it since this is discussion board and that’s what we do.
  21. All true but unfortunately this is not part of the public perception at the moment. It’s probably a great idea for the Biden campaign and Democratic war machine to start focusing on health much more with regards to Trump. If both sides are perceived to have the same issue, it’s no longer a deciding factor in the election.
  22. His biggest problem is that he finds too much of the plate. If you miss over the plate at 98, there’s a better chance that you may get away with it than a meatball at 92 that gets hit hard and often.
  23. This isn’t about losing a debate. I personally think he won the debate handily. It’s about how he looked on the stage and his age and mental ability going forward. That’s going be forefront on the minds of many voters. If this was an isolated incident and he was just having a bad day, it’s a non issue for the Dems. Let’s all move along and this goes away. The problem is that if things like this keep happening, it becomes an election losing situation. God forbid something worse than what we saw at the start of the debate happens in the Fall just a few months before election day. Trump would walk to an easy victory. The reality is there are no other options that can beat Trump right now. Removing Biden can’t be an option unless there’s been much more going on behind the scenes in his day to day functioning than we don’t get to see. If there was any real thought (not silly media rumors) of actually replacing right now, it would lead me to believe that these things have been noticeable for quite some time and people close to him and the DNC have been trying to keep them from coming to light.
