Caleb has an unteachable set of skills that line up very well with today’s NFL. His ability to use his feet and instincts to buy time in the pocket and throw on the move with power and accuracy are off the charts. I also think he got a great amount of humble pie this past season at USC and should serve him well going forward. There are no attitude or character issues with him. This is just made up bs from the depths of the college football Twitterverse. There’s nothing there of him being a bad teammate or poor leader.

Time will tell but the big step backwards is sticking with Justin Fields instead of drafting Caleb Williams. Actually, the most Bears thing would be to once again draft Mitch Trubisky (Drake Maye) instead of Patrick Mahomes (Caleb). I could see that happening.

The rumor is former OSU staffers now working at Catapult illegally shared opposing practice data including play calls and signals with their former employer. If this is true they are ****ed. It could also create an opportunity if they did the exact opposite of Michigan and immediately admit guilt. They cheated and got caught so find a way to limit damage and live to cheat again. That’s how it works in the SEC. Fire Day right away. Get out without having to pay a severance much like MSU and Mel. Self impose minor punishments for the team that don’t have any impact. Limit a recruiting weekend or keep the coaches from traveling for a few weeks. Forfeit all wins from the past season. It means nothing in the grand scheme for a season when they won no trophies but the NCAA will see that as action. All this is window dressing but it’s enough to appease the NCAA and move on without any damage.

UW may get blown out, who knows anything in this crazy game especially this season. I completely disagree they lack the athletes. Just the opposite really as they probably have the best set of skill players on offense of any of the 3 teams. Penix is elite at this level. They have the best group of WR in the country when healthy (that’s been an issue). Odunze is a top 10 pick, Polk is probably round 2 or 3, McMillan may be the most talented of all but has been injured. Dillion Johnson at RB is an absolute stud despite hardly getting touches. The defense is obviously the issue but again they play in a conference loaded with QB’s and skill players so it’s hard to just compare numbers between them and a Michigan or Texas that play in a conference that is sorely lacking quality playmakers.

Red and Johnny Most are looking up and not liking what they are seeing tonight.

It’s Gores so chances are any “new GM” would just end up being Eric Tellem getting promoted.

Eric Bieniemy was an OC in name only. Andy Reid called the plays and set the gameplan. No Bieniemy plays a very minor part, if any, in their struggles this season. They have the least reliable set of receivers the league has seen in a long time as witnessed by their astronomical dropped pass count. That’s the biggest problem for the Chiefs offense.

There is an unknown about how the NFL will treat any potential Harbaugh college suspension. In the past, they have elected not to be safe harbor for people fleeing NCAA suspension. Notably Jim Tressel and Terrell Pryor had to serve an NFL suspension prior to entering the league for things that happened in college. Buddha is correct about Warde. He’s not shown any competence in his AD role. He shouldn’t be trusted to make any meaningful decisions. The football program has flourished without his involvement and he has probably hindered it more than helped. I doubt Harbaugh is still there today if Santa Ono hadn’t been there to take the reins during negotiations. The guy has proven to be quite a turd as AD.
