  1. Is that the guy who does the podcast with Evan Petzold? If so, he’s not very likable.
  2. Matt and Casey look quite pleased.
  3. It was inevitable and not horribly executed. Tigers Twitter is freaking out worse than the time when their collective mother’s suggested that they might charge rent if they continued to live in their basements.
  4. I don’t want Miggy cut, but I wish they could work out a solution. Make him a ceremonial hitting coach so he can continue his tour. Activate him in September so he can play in a few home games and the last game of the season.
  5. I actually think Keith would get a call up first.
  6. Technically, he chose to leave, but I agree with your point.
  7. We’re all gettin’ curly fries tomorrow, bitches! Think of Zach Short as you enjoy them.
  8. Good things happen when you force a pitcher to throw a strike. He was 2-0 when he got his hit.
  9. I agree, but who do you replace him with? I think Kreidler is hurt. They must be having serious conversations about Keith. He could probably skip Toledo.
  10. Greinke can throw about 140 pitches with his stuff. We’re making him look like his old Cy Young self.
  11. Latest Keith Law mock…
  12. Not that Miggy was going anywhere, but he’s the focus of the Tigers marketing efforts throughout the season.
  13. Tigers trade Jonathan Davis for Miami’s OF Brady Allen. A few positives—5th rounder, only 23 and takes a few walks. https://twitter.com/detroittigerspr/status/1660755025503698944?s=46&t=3s7o7paxNgAr2rBy91RdPA
  14. 25% of the season over, and Schoop still doesn’t have an RBI. That’s insane. This team should not be carrying both Miggy and Schoop on the roster, and Cabrera isn’t going anywhere.
  15. 43 years old, and still owns us.
  16. Nice day for the kids, though Lakeland seems like a prospect black hole.
  17. I think Peacock is free, with commercials.
  18. Dingler is a prospect—you can easily flip him with Papierski or Knapp when it’s time. Those two are organizational depth.
  19. Malloy (7) and Pacheco (4) with dingers so far today.
  20. Jonathan Schoop RBI watch: May 14th: 0 RBI
  21. If he’s deemed ready, shouldn’t he be called up? He played a brief spell in AAA last year, plus in the AFL. Regardless of how much time he has in Toledo, he’s going to struggle at times in the majors. I think that’s inevitable. If you believe your best coaching talent is in Detroit, he might benefit most from a call-up. We have to trust the new front office to know what’s in his best interest (and the teams).
