    Are you referencing a qualifying offer? No team would ever offer him one--that's a $18M+ guaranteed contract for one season.

    Agree. Nats fans can be happy they had Candy on their team until now, but have to be bummed with the return. Makes you wonder why Washington didn’t keep him and try and sign him beyond this season?

    I would not put Keith in that deal. It will be interesting to see if Harris does move any prospects for a controllable major leaguer. None of these are his guys, so hard to gauge how much he and his player development staff values them.

    We were critical of Al sometimes selling early, like with JD, so we should get on board with waiting to maximize return on our few tradable assets. KL2 can just take a few Ambiens and set his alarm for 5:30 pm tomorrow.

    No prospect on their list has a 45 FV? I’m not familiar with the Phillies system, but we know DD like to trade prospects. I think it will be Cincy, Baltimore or the Phillies in at least one deal with us.
