Is it possible that the terrible AAA pitching is inflating the performance of our Mud Hens to make them seem better hitters than they actually are ? In other words should we temper our enthusiasm ?

Agree and I think he needs the pressure and bright lights of contention to max his talent.

My “guess” is they are planning on Baez being their shortstop for 2024. Perhaps their is a very small chance they see him at second base thinking that might unlock his bat. He hit well as a Met playing second and his Cubs best play was there also. But he isn’t going anywhere and Mike isn’t eating his salary. I think and hope for a better hitter in 2024. More XB hits even if less walks and more K.

Mckinstry is a nice bench player but he plays way too much. He's fourth on the team in AB's and that needs to change next year with better players.

Defensive limitations on Keith Mallory Jung And Carpenter might lead to trades or extended minor league stay.

In an unfortunate and sad twist of fate the Angel’s chances of signing him just increased if they move right now. And I still think he eclipses 500 million.

Go get one this off season. Don't create a defensive black hole in the outfield to do so.

Greene Lf Meadows CF Verling RF Forget about Badoo and Carpenter etc.... just do it Hinch/Harris and help your pitchers. It's a great Championship caliber defensive alignment. Just play them and watch them get better and better with repetition and playing as a unit.

Yes I do tend to be a tough evaluater but doesn’t a pitcher have to have more than one year with 30 starts to be counted on as a top of the rotation starter ?
