i already knew i didnt like that guy, now i really dont like him. what a piece of garbage. like what larry bird did with his daughter. never saw her and refused to even acknowledge her.

do your friends still think a pettersson trade "starts with seider"? lol. ummmm....no. canucks will have to eat a good chunk of that salary to move him now. marchand out for weeks so probably not getting moved.

Pettersson is quickly becoming one of the worst contracts in the league. i wouldnt give up a lot of assets for him right now.

the red wings have had problems with big, physical teams for a long time. yzerman has tried to bring in tougher players like chairot, seider, petry, and even edvinsson. i'm pretty sure that's why they wanted trouba and had no issue getting rid of walman. there's a lot of soft - or non-physical - players on the team, especially up front. berggren, kane, debrincat, raymond. the guys who SHOULD be physical presences are rasmussen and soderblom but theyre really not those types of players. this seemingly happens every year. once the games start to matter the red wings get punked because other than larkin (who has a ton of pride but isnt big), chairot and now seider, no one else on the team plays with a real physical edge. its was rasmussen bugs me so much. youre that big. act like it.

i could see them making the playoffs as the top wc or see them drop below montreal and philly. neither outcome would surprise me.

whatever happened to the league enforcing playing rules? boston sits half their starters almost every other night. load management is garbage.

The US has a lot of problems, but its a dynamic growing economy. Canada isnt. MCS is worth at least a fifth rounder.

if the timeline for contention starts in the seider/raymond primes in 2 years then i dont trade for 30 year old seth jones now. you'll be paying $7m per year for the downside of his career for 5 more years. i know were all impatient for playoffs but i dont think yzerman is. plus, they fetishize "captains" and "leaders" and jones strikes me as thr opposite of that in his demeanor. if theyre going to move that pick, i think it will be for someone who matches their timeline, i.e.: someone in their early 20s. like cozens.

its not that he's elite, it's that he's JACKED and elite. and there have been rumors about this for years. jeiii for all his flaws used to bring it up from time to time.

kenny atkinson is going to get coach of the year, but JB will get votes. no jaylon brown and the celtics on a back to back on the road right before they take on the best team in the league. second half legs could be expected /debbiedowner 🙂

i'm not expecting much from the pistons in the playoffs this year, any wins or advancement will be gravy. but still hoping to see cade drop 50 on boston...

teams will be salivating at the thought of tobias harris as detroit's second scorer. ask philly how well that went. double cade, stick someone on beasley, and then let the ball flow to harris and let him shoot. sweeptastic.
