  1. edwards-hillaire is your example of a successful pick? as for all your examples of offensive teams, you could have stopped with the qb. akers and henderson for the rams? come on. rb is the most replaceable position in the nfl. the lions got good production from cast off udfas this year and even more from jamal williams. im all for accumulating playmakers running backs in the top of the draft is not a way to do it. walker aint no christian mccaffery. those mock draft simulators are fun, but the trades they let you execute are ridiculous. really, the giants offered you two top 7 picks for #2 in a year without a top qb and you took it? well no shit you did. of course you did! would you offer #2 and #31 for #1 in this draft? no, but i bet the trade simulator would.
  2. why would the lions draft a running back in round 2? why would the giants give up 5 and 7 to get to 2? come on tater. lol.
  3. Jackson has had a nice resurrection to his career in Detroit, and he should help with the playmaking on the perimeter. He’s more of a playmaker for others than what they acquired in Lamb and Holiday. Lyles can be a decent stretch four for the Kings as well. This is a nice play for depth for a team that didn’t want Bagley before this season. *** they also said that about jackson and lyles. both of whom arent very good, imo. jackson is a playmaker?
  4. i want an unstoppable line.
  5. no trade for grant. we have a "comfortability" with him. weaver better KNOW he can get portland's #1 this year for grant in the offseason or else this was yet another stupid move.
  6. hronek in covid protocol
  7. good trade for both teams. i like brooklyn's haul better. simmons on that team with curry too should be awesome for them once durant gets back. simmons doesnt have to score. i hate harden so much. pissed that he goes to philly but that's a heckuva one-two punch with embiid. two of the best offensive players on the league. the problem will be chemistry. how long until harden blows it all up because he's such a diva bitch?
  8. andre got traded!
  9. i mean, getting bagley is fine. got him for a bag of junk. im pretty sure he didnt have to give up those picks but whatever, he'll trade them as quick as he gets them. but again, you must get something for grant. he's hindering cade. i guess the one good thing about not trading grant is that he helps them lose games.
  10. the same troy who traded sekou for deandre jordan's contract and 3 second round picks? i'll believe weaver knows what he's doing when he gets something for grant.
  11. play em together.
  12. my wings watching now is rooting for seider and raymond to get points. also, watching seider play defense and just seemingly get better every game.
  13. matt miller lions mock today: 1: hutch 1: corrall 2: dotson 3: jalen tolbert wr 97: cam jurgens c nebraska 176: jack sanborn, lb wisconsin 179: deangelo malone db wku 218: dane belton s iowa (to make kl happy, no doubt) 232: johnny johnson wr oregon 240: thomas booker, dt stanford seems fine. not sure i would 1) take dotson because he's a slot receiver and they already have st brown; and 2) double up on receiver if one of the projected linebackers or safeties are there (muma, asomoah, brisker, hill).
  14. how hard are the houston rockets laughing right now at brooklyn? gave up a garnett/pierce haul to get a guy who quit on your team in one year. lol.
  15. i really hope that's not true.
  16. if only those teams could have found some decent pitching.
  17. that's what i took from the totality of all your posts. it could be that i interpreted them incorrectly considering how much snark they contain. 🙂
  18. simmons likely going to nets in some deal for harden.
  19. i hope he wins this super bowl. go rams! if the lions cant win it next year, i hope he wins it again.
  20. getting something of value for grant is weaver's most important job right now.
  21. i agree with you. i was responding to chas's point about how we all have great access so of course we dont think its a problem. ok, but nobody seems to think its a big problem...because its not. as noted, i think its not an earth shattering problem. we are not descending into fascism because we have to put our drivers license number on an envelope if we choose to mail in our ballots. most people find it quite easy to vote. almost everyone (99.99%) has access to voting. its not hard. its not jim crow. that said, that doesnt mean it cant be made easier and more accessible to people. many of the ideas in the bill are fine and might even improve the situation. and anything that proposes to end partisan gerrymandering is a good thing. THAT is a scourge on american politics.
  22. because they have voting access now and there are other issues that are more important to them.
  23. food prices have gone up quite a bit.
