I always tip with a card - With my credit union it shows up almost immediately as just the meal price. After about a week, the amount changes to the full amount plus tip. I have no idea why.

My first loss! I had been 42 in a row, & then thought I had 3 words to choose from with 3 guesses left. Nope. It was 4.

That's the big reason I thought Hutch was the best bet - if he makes it to us. He may not be the best player to come out of this draft - but nobody will outwork him.

Given the things Holmes has said & the moves he's already made, I'd be surprised if they went Willis at 2. Too many other holes to fill. I really hope another team falls in love with somebody & offers to move up. I'd just as soon have some extra picks, maybe even in future drafts instead of this one.

With the way this season went, if this team wins it's next game to make the Sweet 16 .. I'd call it a successful tourney.

I saw where Peter King said his hunch is that the Jags are interested in Hutch at 1. Nothing firm on that, but he's a guy who's opinion I respect. Would that change anyone's mind on the Lions pick?

Watching those play calls last nite, knowing their OC is going to the Vikings, made me glad the Lions are in the NFC North. Not sold on the Bears choice either, & Aaron Rodgers won't be around much longer. The Lions are trending up - Now if we could just get a QB like Matthew Stafford.

My wife & I watched "The Electrical Life of Louis Wain" over the weekend. Based on a true story, Louis Wain is credited with normalizing cats as pets in the early 1900s, thanks to his drawings in local newspapers. Some serious mental illness in his family too - a very compelling story.

I don't think we'll have to take a QB at our #2 pick - If 1 we really like falls, we can grab them in the 2nd round. There are only 1-2 picks in between our 2nd 1st rounder & our 2nd rounder - & the Jags aren't taking a young QB.

That's exactly how I feel. I want him back at UM, but the only NFL gig I'd hate to see him get is the Bears. Blech....

I'm a little more worried about Hutch coming off the Nat'l Semi-Final. His stock skyrocketed after the OSU game, & then we saw nothing against Georgia. That's 1 of the reasons I think this is the year it makes sense to trade down, provided we can get a good haul. I just don't think there is much talent that really separates itself as obvious. If the Lions can stockpile some picks in a future draft & still not move down that far, they can get a player that's probably not that big of a drop.
