Allowing Skubal to throw 100 pitches tonight was idiotic. In hindsight, hiring Hinch was a mistake. I wasn’t in favor of hiring him because he enabled cheating in Houston. He didn’t have the guts to stand up to what he clearly knew was wrong. He’s the same guy here. He’s just along for the ride at this point. Is this worse than 2003? Absolutely, not even close.

That has already crossed my mind as well. There is a culture about this team/organization that I really don’t like. The message, at least to this point is, failure is acceptable.

For the sake of common sense, I hope Hinch pulls Skubal at around 60-70 pitches. There is no reason to waste this kids arm on this garbage game.

The silver lining in the decline…. The Vanguard funds we hold are paying distributions (dividends) today for the second quarter. We reinvest the $ back into the funds. The pullback has created a better buy point.

This organization, through doing nothing, has embraced failure. It’s just another day at the old ping pong table.

IMHO, I believe the team needs a different manager. Hinch was passive in Houston while the team cheated in front of him and he doesn’t seem to be much different now.
