    The point was to get prospects for guys they weren't going to be able to sign. The execution was poor. I wished they had extended both of them, but I don't think Ilitch was going to allow it.

    Randy Smith. His drafts were terrible and his trades were pointless. There never seemed to be a plan in place for any length of time. The drafts under Avila were better and his transactions made sense in terms of correctly identifying weaknesses, but his execution was poor.

    Anyone who has observed Trump for the past 40 years knows that he was using the classified documents to make money in some way. That much is clear. The specifics are open to all kinds of speculation.

    It's highly proprietary, so that is unlikely. He may know people that do have access to it and get their opinions along with his own observations.

    They have been terrible for six years supposedly with the intention of re-building. 12 out of 30 teams make the playoffs and they play in in medium market division. It is reasonable for fans fans to expect a contender by now.

    I don't see what's so great about Hinch, but I don't think getting rid of him is going to fix anything. Getting a new GM should change things, although improvement would take time.

    Without question, but if they couldn't sign him then I wouldn't do it because I don't expect The Tigers to be very good the next two years.

    Wenceel Perez is Lou Whitaker. I will say that Perez has great numbers though which is something Hill never had.

    Yes, they would have, but fans of other teams would have been doing the same thing.

    Of course, they need better from those two. The point is not all top prospects develop into stars.
