They've been saying that Medicare and social security would be eliminated my whole life. You can't really sell it to anyone because everyone pays into it and pretty much everyone benefits. I can see them chipping away at it at a slow pace so most people don't notice. Overturning Roe was a pretty easy sell to the brain washed MAGA base which the Supreme Court represents.

They didn't want to do much becausde the Democratic center is not progressive and this is why young people don't vote.

I worry about social security and medicare, but I think eliminating them is going to be a really hard sell to the old white guy base. I suppose they could grandfather in the old white guys and eliminate it for the yet to be retired people.

We want more people voting Democrat. We just don't think candidates are entitled to votes. If people aren't voting, the onus is on the candidates to make themselves more appealing.

I didn't vote when I was young either because all the politicians came across as phonies who only cared about themselves. I still think that, but as I got older and less idealistic, I decided to vote more and chose the politicians that pretended to care about the things I care about.

If they got more votes, they could have had more of a majority and passed it. Do you think young people are inspired by any of the old out of touch Democrats? AOC is the only one with a pulse. I saw her protesting today and she is the only congress person that could pull it off without looking awkward.

Who cares what Spencer Turnbull thinks? He was born in Bama, was probably a pampered sports hero his entire life and has a Bible verse on his twitter profile. There was no chance he was going to be anything but what he is. I just hope he can come back and be a good pitcher again next year.

Shortstop looks like the best position again. If they want to make a big splash, they can move Baez to second and sign a shortstop. That would require spening even more money than they did on Baez though, so it problay won't happen.

Corporate responses are important. They and consumers are what ultimately run the United $tates. Government obviously doesn't care about individual consumers, but corporations have tremendous influence. Their influence is selfish, but can be useful.

Kavanaugh is being empathetic. He's thinking of those males who get drunk and then date rape a woman they just met and get her pregnant. He wants them to be able to send the woman to another state to get an abortion.

The Supreme Court ruling on guns sucks. The United State is becoming more barbaric every day.

They could have traded him earlier or extended him. I know that depended on Chris Ilitch spending money, but letting the second best Tigers hitter in the last 40 years get away for nothing was a mistake by the organization.

I remember one early rumor was Martinez for Conforto which would have been OK for a couple years, but no help now.
