Late to the party, but hats off to Matt Stafford. Had an outstanding day. Outplayed the GOAT. Overcame two fumbles lost by his RB, another fumble by Kupp, an errant snap recovered by the other team, and a missed FG. Then he did what he does better than anyone. I think we will see Matt Stafford in the Super Bowl.

Two #1 seeds coming off the bye losing on last second field goals. Against teams that did not play all that well. Just sloppy football by the supposed best teams in each conference. Really surprising, not necessarily that they lost, but how. Tannehill is the goat (not GOAT) in Tennessee, and the special teams coach is the goat in GB. Would not want to be either of them right now.

He had one year left on his contract. He will be on the club next season, but will he be starting late in the season? Not guaranteed. He threw those other balls into traffic. The last pick was in the midst of three defenders. Maybe all three weren’t completely his fault but I don’t think you can keep the confidence of a defense (and defensive coach) when they spot you nine sacks and you still can’t seal the deal.

Anyone else think Tennessee is going to want QB help next season? How do you lose a game where your defense has nine sacks? Your QB throws three picks. Hard to watch.

Maybe if Chase Young draft was in this draft. Or one of the Bosas. But they are generally seen to be a tier above this year’s crop.

Is there anyone outside of this board talking about Philly moving up? I’m not seeing it. They just made the playoffs. They play in a weak division with only Dallas as a threat. Their GM just publicly committed to starting Hurts next season, so they have seen enough to build the offense around him in year two of his contract. They will add blue chip talent around him and compete for the division next year then decide if he is the guy. They are not trading those picks to decide which of three pedestrian and indistinguishable QB prospects they want to roll the dice on.

Missed the game today but watched highlights. Campbell was responsible for some of the most exciting and effective play calling that we've ever seen as Lions fans. Do we really want him to give it up?

Is Kenny Pickett all that and a bag of potato chips? Or is he just the QB that is getting pumped this year? I see Walter Football mocking him to the Lions, and I don't mind the thought of picking up the future at QB and WR in round one. Would give the team a year to know what they have waiting in the wings before Goff's dead money number comes way down.
