I don't think so. I definitely don't want the same things out of life that a hardcore religious, Christian Nationalist conservative wants out of their life. I'm not that religious and don't think that my atheist-adjacent views should be pushed on everyone, nor am I trying to legislate atheism. Christian Nationalists want women put in their place and want only men and women to be able to marry. They want every child in school subjugated to their religious beliefs and theirs alone. They want dry counties and people to dress as modestly as possible. I want none of that.

I acknowledge the sexual assault of all women who were raped and violated and feel for each one of them. It is a horrific experience I cannot truly know. Nancy Mace, Juanita Broaddrick, Christine Blasey-Ford, and on deserve to have their stories heard. If Mace is worried about trans men using a women's bathroom and vice versa then maybe she could start by not voting for a man who was convicted in a civil trial of sexual assault himself. Why did she vote for a man who was found guilty of rape if that is her primary concern?

We are at trans men should be allowed to go into the restroom they feel comfortable using because they are human beings, there to use a bathroom, like the rest of us. The reason we're even having this discussion is because Republicans are freaking out over and trying to legislate what bathroom .6% of the population uses. The Catholic Church comes into play because Republican politicians, like Nancy Mace, and activists are trying to infer that trans people do or would do inappropriate things around children. Which hasn't ever been proved to have happened at anything close to the scale of inappropriate behavior by Catholic priests and other members of clergy. Nancy Mace could simply let the issue drop and let Sarah McBride just use whatever bathroom she feels comfortable using. But she started this whole issue with her unnecessary bill.

We're mentioning this because MAGA thinks that trans people and drag actors behave inappropriately around children and put them in harms way, when there is no evidence they do. There is plenty of evidence that clergy and priests behave inappropriately around children and violate their innocence. I don't have kids, but if I did, I feel that they'd statistically be far safer around a trans person using the bathroom they feel most comfortable with, or attending a drag queen event, versus leaving them alone with a Catholic priest or other member of clergy.

Otherwise, kindly be quiet about what bathrooms a trans person uses. And this $4 billion figure doesn't even count all the dollars spent trying to fight restitution payments to victims and fight lawsuits against the church. The Catholic Church spent years denying abuse was evening happening in their church and covered it up when they did. If anyone can provide me research that pro-trans organizations knowingly covered up sexual abuse or rape of children, as the Catholic Church and local Archdioceses did for decades, please share it with me. I'd be happy to read it. Otherwise, again, please kindly be quiet about what bathrooms a trans person uses.

Amen! Priests, pastors, and members of clergy have raped and molested far more children then transgendered persons. Not to mention, the trans community hasn't spent billions of dollars, as the Catholic Church has, covering up child abuse, fighting to pay restitution to victims, and paying out settlements. I'd be far more worried if a priest walked into a men's bathroom than a transman.

Alleged antiwar President Donald Trump had every opportunity to come out in support of Bernie Sanders resolution to block weapons sales to Israel. After all,he came out against the Bipartisan Border bill he didn't like, why not this one if he's so antiwar. MAGA'S new found antiwar lasted all of a couple of days. Not one single Senate Republican voted for halting weapons sales to Israel. 18 Senate Democrats did vote in favor of it and thank you to each one that did the right thing. Not to mention, the number of neocons like Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Mike Waltz,Pete Hegspeth, and others that Trump has nominated to his cabinet. George W. Trump.

Trump may well reignite inflation, create a recession, or worse yet, cause stagflation with both high inflation and a recession occurring at the same time. If he does do that, I'm curious to see how teflon this guy really is. In particular, if the economy is in the ditch, do any of the gains he made with black men and Latino men actually hold at all or will they flip back once they realize the emperor has no clothes?

Republicans always bitch about how Democrats are going to take away beef or whatever. RFK Jr. is literally about to wage war on Diet Coke and they're alright with it apparently. I remember when they freaked out over Michelle Obama's attempts to make school lunches healthier. That was communist or something.

I think that's how Democrats need to start campaigning. It clearly effective.

No, not at all. We're treading into Ken Holland territory with an overreliance on veteran players who aren't performing any better than some of the younger guys potentially could. Yzerman has tried to band aid together a winner with the likes of Chiarot, Copp, Holl, Husso, Petry, etc. and it hasn't worked out at all. I don't think any of the aforementioned players will be around if we end up being a competitive, above .500 team. Maybe Copp would be on the roster, but that's about it. Holland tried putting a band aid on the team to keep it afloat by bringing in more and more veterans on bad or subpar contracts. It didn't work then and it's not working now.

Douglas made the wrong decision drafting Zach Wilson as his franchise QB and then had to pivot to Rodgers. I think both moves were mistakes on his part.

Trump didn't appoint one single black person to his cabinet. All of the black campaign surrogates he had on the trail campaigning for him got passed over for cabinet positions. I suppose the guy that thinks the Egyptian pyramids were built by Joseph and used as grain silos, Ben Carson, could get his job back at HUD. Thus far though, not one black person appointed.
