Giants just signed Diego Cartaya to a minor league deal. This guy was a the #14 overall prospect in 2023. The Dodgers, a really well run franchise full of smart people, resisted all requests to include him in trades for years. Then he collapsed and now is available for nothing as a minor league free agent. The opportunity cost of not trading Cartaya is hard to measure, but real and probably significant.

the problem with "straight news" is that both the NYT and the Post are "both siding" fascism some people think it is good, let's hear from them some people think it is bad, let's hear from them they are constantly normalizing abnormal behavior, and that robs readers of the "straight news" story WH correspondents were despondent through the Biden administration because he did not give them the attention, the access, and the stories they needed to show everyone how important they were

Lee has spent all of his his age 22 season at AAA. that's another great data point, if "age at level" is important to you. Max Anderson has spent all of his age 23 season at AA, which is just fine as well.

Without the Post, there is nothing for Bezos to offer Trump except cash. Trump loves cash, but he also wants normal media to fall in line like right wing media. Bezos can use that as the bait to get the power and government contracts he wants. It is a two-way grift.
