  1. Will this fit on a bumper sticker? "Folks, we're bringing back the exact same team that had a months long historical collapse and relying on internal growth from those exact same players to hopefully get different results this time!" If Torres and Vierling are healthy, then yes they should be better. But who is getting injured in 2026? Greene and Carp may produce differently, but better? Tork, Dingler, Keith, Perez and Meadows will all be better in 2026, unless they are worse. McKinstry and Jones just had their career years; Baez gave you 1/2 season of competence before reverting back to his mean; Jake should be able to give them a bit more but still very little. McGonigle IMO won't be up OD, and relying on him and some other guys with zero ML experience is doubling down and putting all your eggs in the player surprise/development/growth basket.
  2. this is almost like a parody of Harris you would see posted here. yikes. Harris said the team is counting on returning players to develop during the offseason. "Just because a lot of the names are the same, doesn't mean the team is the same," Harris said.
  3. Keller, Weaver, Houser all sign for 2/22M
  4. POTUS has called for arrest of Wray and Garland, and literally no MSM covers it, because it is not "news" that the Orange pedo turd is insane, so why cover it?
  5. a couple of "normal" GOP reps just forced House to vote on 3 year subsidiaries for ACA. Mike Johnson's attempt to deprive millions of any affordable insurance may yet fail.
  6. I was told that the black lady was going to send American kids off to another foreign war, so we had no choice but to vote for the rapist.
  7. Miguel Andujar is still available
  8. saw he was out until mid-2026; always rooted for him; massive developmental win for the Tigers and Foley that he went from undrafted out of Sacred Heart University (where he roomed with Zack Short) to a 4 year MLB career
  9. 2008 all over again?
  10. not only is the Orange pedo turd a rapist and an idiot and an a-hole, he is also destroying the Biden boom
  11. #1 issue for me is to secure IOL. everything else flows from that. Goff can deal with pressure from the edge better, and Dan loves to run up the middle. At OG, Ratledge and Mahogany, with Fraizer in the mix is good, with a chance for maybe more than good At C, assuming no Ragnow, prefer they don't move Ratledge over, so need FA, or Day 1 rookie starter from the draft
  12. they need to move someone off the 40 for Jansen. little trade coming?
  13. biggest domestic FA pitching contract: Cole signed for 9/324 (AAV 36M) biggest international FA pitching contract: Yamamoto 12/325 (AAV 27.3M) no including Ohtani so Skubal needs to clear 325 total value and 36AAV to reset pitching market for Skenes 10/370 = one more year than Cole; highest AAV; highest total comp
  14. not a Harris player for sure; .278 OPB! over his last 1200 plate appearances
  15. Phillies giving OF Adolis Garcia $10M on a 1 year deal. The supply of RH OF is insanely low.
  16. Dan's insistence on running the ball between the tackles 20 times a game, when they have inexperienced and untalented interior linemen is just stupid
  17. every LAC players could see the interception 2 seconds before it happened; how do you throw that ball, when you are ready to tie the game?
  18. either you are getting better or you are getting worse. i don't think they are worse, so I guess they are a bit better, but Finnegan only guy I expect to see in 2027. nothing really done at all to build the team, as much as stocking the 2026 shelves, which is fine for now. i see Mil and KC swapped young players, something that is long overdue for Harris. if you hold onto young talent and they blossom, you look smart. but if they go nowhere, that's a lost opportunity. Jung, Malloy, Sweeney look to be non-contributors to this organization, who now have almost no trade value. After McGonigle arrives, there is not gong to be room for both Anderson and Lee. Dingler and Tork, + Briceno and Liranzo, + Valencia and Malloy = someone's got to go eventually.
  19. would like another LHR, but Hurter could be that guy i suppose
  20. if the Pistons get swept in the finals by OKC, this season will have been a massive, massive success
  21. if Cubs are thinking about moving Hoerner, I would be all over that. Move him back to SS; he has the approach Harris wants. Because he lacks power, he won't get a huge FA contract going into 2027, so maybe you could sign him long term and move him to SS or 2b as needed. don't know what Cubs need. Mize also under control for one more year. Carpenter could replace Tucker's offense.
  22. they are a flawed team, but a 20-5 team! losses by 3, 3, 4, 4, and one blowout, so they have been competitive 24 of 25 nights. getting the same vibes that we felt from the Going to Work crew, when people were asking, are they really this good? how do you score 142 points with no starter getting more than 15? Detroit, which has won five of six, had seven players in double figures and 12 with at least seven points, tying an NBA record held by the 2018-2019 Bucks and 2021-22 Spurs.
  23. THANK YOU! I feel like I am taking crazy pills when people praise his guy over and over. He is so sloppy in everything he does and that shows up in close games.
