My biggest weaver problem is the roster hasn't gotten better at all. They've changed guys, they've shuffled vets and they are still at the top of the lottery. People say we'll cade got hurt, but without him you see a last place roster. That's my weaver problem is that he has built a roster just devoid of talent. Even with cade there are like no support pieces.

Can we fire weaver yet?

Jc Jackson and ward were both on nfl.com's top 10 corner back list heading into the season. Both big 10 guys 3 sec 3 acc guys I don't think you can read too much into whether conference impacts a groups ability to succeed as that is a pretty even distribution

Of course there are exceptions. Nobody is saying differently. But there's been multiple studies on this. The vast majority of 2nd and 3rd round qb never amount to anything. More than any other positions more than other rounds. To think you're gonna draft the next jimmy g when the history says that is unlikely is fools good. To do so is trying to be the smartest guy in the room. When you do that it often gets you in trouble, see reference Quinn, bob. Just draft a qb in round 1 I'd you need it. If you have a guy then take one in round 6 and hope to get lucky. There is little difference between a round 3 qb and a round 7 guy. At least by taking another player earlier you at least get special teams/a few years backup put of em.

The problem with subchannels is they are maxed in what they can send out. If you send out one hd signal the substation almost always has to be sd because of said cap. When your showing a 4x3 480 show from the 70s is fine. Sports fans probably aren't gonna sit for long with sd or a low mbit HD program.

But that's true for pretty much any activity. Concert museums sports, whatever. It's also a factor for a premium channel. I'm not sure most people watch everything on paramount plus. They watch a couple things then it sits there. I'm not sure it's much of a factor.

My comment was more the decline in all sports tv viewership via cable not specific to rsn l's which I explained at length before in this thread. They all face challenges with cord cutting. It's why the nfl is now on Amazon and baseball has looked at Apple.

It's 100 percent cord cutting. College football, NFL, NHl, NBA and college basketball are all facing the same challenge.

This the vaitai love is silly. It's an easy spot to save a lot of money and with the other guys on the line you're probably not gonna see a massive drop off with a 6th round rookie or a 2 million signey

I wouldn't read too much into it yet. They are heavily in debt and this might just be a chance to get out of some of the terrible debt for pennies. McClatchy recently did it after it bought Knight-Ridder and then the bottom fell out of newspapers like the next week. It just spun off into a new company and left a chunk of the debt behind.

Its more about putting the name in a person's head. So if you see little Ceasars a bunch of time, the idea is planted that way when someone thinks pizza they see your brand or drives past a store it sticks out in the mind. Few ads get direct buys, but it's about brand recognition and planting the idea so when it comes time, the name sticks out.

They could cause its not like anybody is there. But outside of his rookie year (albeit in very limtied duty) he's sported a slash of .230/.257/.581. Just a hair better than Nevin, maybe we should just stick with Nevin and his possible upside.

And most third round picks bust out. Don't make it seem like 80 percent are solid starter. So it really doesn't matter if it's a qb or dl who busts. If you find your qb there though, well it's the most important position on the field.
