  1. We're drafting 5th...will Miller even be there?
  2. I'm beginning to think we might go QB at #6....
  3. I'm 62 years old and I have surgical metal in both arms so...Hell Yes
  4. I weigh 310 lbs at 6-5"...for me to gain 9 lbs in such a brief window I would have to literally sit on my ass and do nothing but eat shitty food. There's already significant red flags re his character...you would think that he would make sure he's on point physically. This concerns me more than the driving thing because it suggests he's not taking this seriously. Why would anyone think he'll suddenly wise up?
  5. Not sure how anyone can think the Montgomery signing is a bad idea...he's an upgrade at the position for a reasonable contract.
  6. When I was 19 I took a bend on a country road that was marked at 35mph at 80 in a 1978 Ford Fiesta. I spun out on gravel and lost control. The car started flipping and rolling (cut the wheel hard because I was heading into a tree line). Came to a rest facing the opposite direction than when it started. Thankfully..I didn't hurt anyone but me (compression fx's in my thoracic spine). I get the whole "hey I'm A kid..I'm bullet proof" thing..so I'd draft Carter at6...if he was my BPA. Sheila has been around a long time...she may be thinking "Reggie Rogers 2.0...no thanks".
  7. The Packers are going to be truly horrid next year
  8. So we could Corral him with a late round pick?
  9. Dan Campbell likes him. Good enough for me
  10. We're signing Sutton? Love it!!
  11. Maybe it's Philadelphia...Didn't Legionnaire's disease show up first in Philly...at an American Legion convention? Hence the name?
  12. If you're going the trade route...I'd rather target big play Slay than Ramsey. Assuming Philly is open to trading him
  13. I vaguely recall some discussion years ago about increased cancer rates in female soccer players who played on Field turf...esp the goalies because they rolled around in it...but have no recollection if that connection was ever made completely
  14. I made it to March before paying any attention to tankathon... That's an improvement.
  15. Cossa and Lethemon continue to backstop the Walleye..they haven't lost since February 4th. Lethemon has 1.99 GAA and .930 SV%. (Lethemon has a 19-1-3 record!) Cossa had some early struggles but he's got the GAA down to 2.45 and the save % up to .913. Next year's GR tandem?
  16. If Goff hadn't taken the Rams to a Super Bowl...I'd be more open to moving on from him for Jackson...Now...I think he deserves to see what he can do with this team, but the case for Jackson is compelling.
  17. Saw Emoni play against Bowling Green. EMU was horrible and he was so sick he was throwing g up on the bench...so...tough to judge
  18. Jackson is a better runner...that adds a dimension. Is it worth the picks and cash ( probably a pick because Goff should get you at least 1 first round pick) I do not know...I'm on the fence
  19. With the the Richrdson box...the chance that the "there's so much crap there's gotta be a pony in there somewhere" adage won't hold true and that it will end up being just a box of crap is enough to keep me from wanting to draft him
  20. 15 years ago when I could bundle my home phone, basic cable and "high speed" internet for $100-150 per month...I had no incentive to stream. Once the costs associated with the bundle went north of $200, I cut the phone and cable and started streaming. Streaming costs creep as you add networks...but I find that even as the costs of my internet ($100 soon to go to 125 when I upgrade) along with a Disney bundle, Peacock, Bally sports and Prime video (part of my Prime membership) I'm less likely to bail even as the costs begin to level out because I like the flexibility of streaming. I may add Netflix...I used to have them when they were a DVD rental service...I would rent movies...rip them and send them back. Had to be careful about over renting because they would threaten to down throttle your membership
  21. Seider, Edvinsson, Wallinder...they've done a nice job of getting bigger dmen in the system. Now they need to do the same up front
  22. Kirill Tyutyayev is having a great year down there at Toledo with 45 pts (8 goals but 37 assists) in 30 games. Would love to see him get another shot in GR
  23. Cossa with a big weekend in Toledo. Got a rare back to back start as Lethemon was up in GR. Won both stopping 55 of 56 shots. On the year...Cossa has a 2.50 GAA and a .911 SV %. The team is red hot...currently on a 13 game winning streak
  24. Oskar was a RH shot...but so is Alex Chiasson who they apparently signed They also signed John Lethemon...the goalie who's doing so well at Toledo
  25. Bad move? Mantha hasn't been too good in DC. The 2021 1st was flipped to get Cossa...he's doing pretty well right now in his 1st pro season in Toledo and the 2022 2nd was Buchelnikov...looks like a prospect if he ever comes stateside. In any case...I think it's too early to say it's a bad deal as the assets we got back are still developing
