I saw that too, I have Fox 2 on every morning while working. I think it's a corporate directive, not the local station's management. Every day they talk to Doug Lusader from Fox and I can tell the questions are pre-programmed. YOu don't have Jay Towers talking asking those kinds of specific questions.

As I often quote PJ O Rourke in 2016 "I think Hillary Clinton is wrong on everything. But she's wrong within normal parameters" Most of the time politics can be worked out in a middle groud but I think Obama's election did away with that. It also started with Gingrich on a smaller scale but Clinton outsmarted them. But they never forgot. The point of congress after his election became denying the oppostion party's re-election.
