I said earlier here that I wouldn't be surprised if every living former POTUS and VPOTUS had some classified docs mixed in with regular papers with no sinister motives. After his shenanigans with Lewinsky impeachment vs. Trump impeachment along with the way he treated the SC appointments with regard to Garland and Barret.... he might be the most blatant hypocrite in Washington.

I had the chance last week to attend an event at the Ilitch casino with some Tigers, probably like a scaled back Tigerfest which they quit doing I guess. I didn't go. But I saw photos of some players on a stage wearing the jerseys and it hit home how awful the still new home jerseys are.... the nike loo looks larger now and to me it makes the "hat" version of the Olde English D stand out. Just looked cheap.

Couldn't the shading be accomplished simply by extending the roof line of the upper level? It wouldnt eradicate it but would provide more relief.

I got the sense that McHale's job was to get the stadium built and to act as the liaison with the league because Ilitch was still sort of an outsider. McHale's got a family history in the game. I've said before that the strategy in the mid 90's wasn't flawed. You had McHale, Smith, and Buddy Bell all as legacy people running the team. Not a bad way to go. Weird you mention Dallas because her husband or ex husband Jim Lites left the org and went on to the Dallas Stars. He was instrumental in getting the Russians here for the Red Wings. There was a lot of weird things going on with that family.
