  1. I get an email every time the ISS flies over my area.
  2. I like it because it seems to reserve status as still being a deep park but not to the extreme. I still maintain that it affects the home team psychologically. Visiting players not so much because they know they'll be in a new park in a few days. I think this will alleviate that.
  3. where do you get this crazy idea that nobody is going to "yell at him"? It's been turned over to a prosecutor to investigate. You are just making shit up.
  4. I hope there is enough of them left to matter.
  5. And we would never have known about it. In fact we didn’t know about any of it until Trump decided to grift off it by playing victim. intent matters legally. Some people just insist on playing both sides and what about and “yeah but games and pretend they aren’t and I’m not going to participate anymore.
  6. You are asking us why we didn’t react the same way to a situation where one guy rants about being “raided “ and another where one guy’s team notifies the archives that they have something that the archives apparently didn’t know even existed. Person A takes petty cash money that no longer applies to him as he doesn’t work there anymore, is asked numerous times to give it back, doesnt, then they show up to get it. Person B leaves a job and 5 years later discovers a box with petty cash in it, let’s them know he has it, sends it back and you want to say “well hold on now…. Why didn’t you give person A the same benefit of the doubt?”
  7. The flip side is… what does it matter? Republicans are going to think what they want regardless of the facts.
  8. At what point during the Trump document situation did we not know that the archives knew he had classified documents and he wasn’t returning them? That’s what prompted the “raid” and when Trump let the public know what was happening. There was not a single point in time that the publicly available information matched what happened with the President. The situations were never similar or in line.
  9. of course having something where it shouldn't be is "irresponsible". Going 75 in a 65 zone and 95 in a 25 zone are both "speeding". That doesn't mean a person that drives 75 in a 65 zone can't be pissed off at a person who goes 95 in a 25 zone because they also once drove over the speed limit. It's almost like you are trying to both sides stuff.
  10. I started a thing a few months ago where I watch a movie that everybody loves that I have never watched. I started with Shawshank Redemption, which shockingly I never got around to seeing. It got to a point where I would avoid it as a joke, I wanted to be known as the only guy who never saw it. Totally loved it and immediately told my son to watch. Last week I hit up Chinatown. Loved that one as well. Next up is either The Sting or The Verdict.
  11. Yes. It's no mystery that it followed him to Boston. My point is you don't build a bullpen in January. You acquire guys and let it play out in the spring and april and may. Guys surprise you and evolve.
  12. Bullpens happen by accident
  13. That won’t matter. It’s all they need to “both sides” it. Details are irrelevant. People are too ignorant to understand.
  14. No one here is excusing it.
  15. I’d be careful though because in 2017 democrats also objected but since no senators went along with the House members then they didn’t proceed to the next step. Were those objectors enemies of democracy? Much like Scott Harris and the Tigers I’m going to let the work of the prosecutors and Jack Smith play out before making any judgements.
  16. How is that the fault of prosecutors or grand juries, which is what I was responding to. The idea that someone isn’t doing something rather than circumstances and evidence once again letting people get away with something. this whole drama is the result of Netflix. People expect movement on stories every week. I don’t like what many of them did either but a member of congress objecting to electoral votes during the counting is not a crime.
  17. I always liked Candice Miller. I respect her for leaving Congress after seeing what a shit show it became and realizing she can better use her skills to serve by going local. That's what a true leader does.
  18. well it's beyond the powers of that grand jury to indict. Give them a chance to act before condemning them.
  19. This reminds me of a friend of ours who shared a story with us. Her mom died about 7 years ago. Her niece, one of the granddaughters of the mom, had grandma's signature tattooed on her arm. What she didn't know is that the signature was actually my friend signing her mom's name to the Christmas cards every year. They are an Italian family and b/c of that the penmanship to English wasn't so great so our friend would sign both names. Of course she isn't going to say anything.
  20. Just popping in to say that was fun. I’m happy for all my lions fans friends. You waited a long time to feel this good about your team. I’m not anti lions. I just don’t really care that much and I don’t want to be a bandwagon jumper.
  21. The public is tired of it. It was a response to perceived extremism by Obmama in 2009 then over time the public is like “Obamacare isn’t so bad”. Trumpism took over the space the FC occupied, brought some others into it, then became the dominant variant (that would not have appeared in my vocabulary precovid). Now that is waning and the FC is left holding their figurative dicks. They will go thru their motions but it only helps the Dems long term.
  22. And why didn’t the democrats make her retire???? And didn’t he notice what McConnell did with Scalia’s seat?
  23. Maybe Gaetz is just fucking with him. I’m going to bed. I’m assuming this means they have it now so no need to stay up.
