I'll forgo the lost revenue if it makes it harder for someone to get a gun like this. If it means out of 20 mass shooters only 17 successfully get one on the black market then we have 3 fewer mass shootings. The goal of eliminating mass shootings is pie in the sky but if you pass laws that reduce it even by 1 then it's all worth it.

I don't think he and his team would have known how to do that yet. He was still a loser and the party kept him at arm's length until that night when he won. They didn't have the infrastructure that comes with being a President.

I was at the game in 2003 when he was going for 300 wins at Comerica Park. It was a sellout. Tigers came back late to tie it... game went like 17 innings.

I don't think any votes were "stolen". Any fraud that was there was probably what's typical for a given year. But now everyone's learned the weak points in the system , the crazy people have risen to the surface, so any close election going forward will be open to criticism by the crazy people.

Interesting tidbit in the Freep article on Clemens. He called Detroit a second home. Had an aunt that lived in Harper Woods and when his teams were in town he stayed in her basement rather than the team hotel.

our company is selling buildings. But also building, something started before the pandemic. There's going to be a huge glut of corporate office space. Deloitte is moving out of the Ren Cen, one of the few big tenants left, GM is still remote. BoA moved out of their big building in Troy and dispersed people to 3 other locations.

Do charter and religious schools have a teacher shortage? Or is that not a problem because all the teachers are women and it's ok that women don't make as much as men because men do real work and are the breadwinners. If the goal is to make public schools horrible so the only alternative for decent people is taxpayer subsidized religious/charter schools. Win win for the right wingers.

Obi Wan exceeded my expectations. And even better is the next episode is tomorrow. I really like the retconning of Hayden. He deserves it. We begun stanger things but the longer episodes are tough for us. It took us 2 nights to get through one. My wife can't stay up too late.
