CNN has some work to do in their quest to become Fox 2.0

It’s not a problem for other leagues. They maximize viewers nationally. For every one you think they would lose on the east coast they would lose on the west.

I share the "play it safe" concerns. Even in non baseball activities the organization does that. They recently opened a starbucks on the groundfloor of the Fox. It replaced a restaurant. I'm thinking "There's a million of those....." They made a big deal about it a few years ago. I don't think it ever opened. Basically they have to make things safe and appealing to the gang from places like Novi. All the touristy stuff like Mom's Spaghetti and the Q Line.

But I think baseball's front offices are larger and have more ground to cover given their different development practices. I just think it's silly to compare two executives based on job titles alone. That tells you almost nothing about the quality of their work.

so basically nobody knows anything. I unfollowed a bunch of them after 2020, they weren't giving me value as a reader. I don't see the point in nitpicking or worrying about methodology when it's so close b/c the margin of error takes care of solid accountability. When everything is qualified with disclaimers then I don't see the point. The polls in general show a shift to D's but whether that's enough in all the races isn't known so expect anything and there will be enough for everyone to claim to be right in some manner of speaking.

MCS will know this.... there's a guy on Outer Dr south of Monroe that always has these signs up protesting the latest controversy... the grammar is pretty bad. In my old house the landline would pick up WJR sometimes. Only WJR. That's how I found out Barry Sanders retired. The other person on the line would hear it too. We were talking on the phone, back when you still did that, and suddenly we heard breaking news and my friend says "Did he just say Barry retired?" When we switched to Vonage (Remember that??? $25 flat, including LONG DISTANCE!) and then later broadband it all went away.

the judge wants to appoint someone to review the material to separate out the personal/privilege stuff from the items that belongs to the government. Which is silly because it's already been done! From what I have read the judge basically did the work of the attorneys. Meaning.... they didn't ask for things, didn't clarify things, etc. but the judge just ruled as if they did. Like a teacher filling in test answers or grading an essay not written.
