    To be safe I would say 30 min minimum before the gates open. For giveaways there's often a line just to get in and the black panther one may be a hot item.

    Teams and government entities do not share the same values anymore. Governments are broke and don't want to pay for stadiums. Teams are not broke but don't want to pay for stadiums if they don't have to so they will find someone who will pay. Fans get screwed.

    It would have to be one of those positional matchup type deals where different needs are met. You'd want a Tork type player, in terms of MLB readiness and all that but at a different position. Of course the value of a 1B/DH compared to another IF skews things.

    and I'm not sure what would have or could have occured a year into his tenure to make us think he's an elite GM. Getting lucky isn't a sign of genius. The league is full of competent and smart people. The goal is to be on par with them.

    I was really into Crue in middle school.... up until Theater of Pain. I listened to that again a few years ago and it was such a rush to hear those songs again. Hadn't listened to them since the 80's and they were as fresh as could be in my mind. I love that experience.

    I’ll never forget when in an early game Ausmus left him in the game during a challenging situation. People ripper Ausmus. Mark came in to explain that a knock against Norris in the minors something like lacking a killer instinct or something like that. So Ausmus was probably testing him. That stuck with me.
