I’d love for the EC to go away. I used to be a proponent but now understand the problem with giving power to the few. I just don’t see it happening. You won’t get 2/3 of the states to approve an amendment. The National popular vote initiative has some legal issues to be resolved and I’m not sure the makeup of the court would support it. I see too much wiggle room. At least based on Wikipedia research 😂

This year the Tigers gave me a free mlb.tv sub. But you can't link it to your prime membership even though prime has a deal to play mlb.tv. I guess they get nothing out of it if you don't buy it through them. I get it. I don't have a smart TV in m office and it's not available on Xfinity's suite of apps. I do have a few roku sticks laying around, I wonder if it's on that?

I prepaid parking via the ParkWhiz app. I don't carry cash anymore. Found some cheaper lots near LCA. I'm running a half marathon on Saturday so I have to be good at the game. Maybe 2 beers before teh game and then water the rest of the way. And of course it's Lent so cheese pizza it is.

Do you have the Ticketmaster app? I have 3 future events in my ticketmaster app and all of them don't show the barcode by default but it does give the option to view it. But I also checked my Red Wings tickets, which is somehow linked to Ticketmaster but only available through the Wings site, and yes... no barcode. Just the bouncing thing. I hate paperless tickets. My friend sent 10 of us into his suite last week and it was a cluster.... only 3 of us had the tickets in our phones. You had to go out with one of them to be let back into the suite area. I get why they do it and it's not just the Tigers or Wings or Lions.... but it doesn't speed things up at the gate. Everyone's fussing with their phones, trying to get it to work. That's why on flights I always print my boarding pass at the airport. It's their pass. It's their ink, their paper, etc. If there's an issue it's their fault, it's not my phone's brightness or whatever.

yeah I think it's always been like that for me. I would tip cash but I never carry it anymore. My haircut lady used to take Venmo but stopped because of some tax reasons but luckily she also takes Zelle which my bank has. She was the only reason I got cash out since the pandemic started. Even before then it was only for Tigers games. Now they are cashless.

Call me cynical but I don't think anybody is going to really pay for this. We won't have a Nuremberg. This is going to drag out for a few years and eventually in the US it will be overtaken by the 2024 POTUS race. It'll just be another one of those "over there" things.
