You can generaally find a lawyer willin to sue anyone for anything. I'm not suggesting Trump's campaign is responsible because I don't know the rules, the law, etc. None of us really do. Just explaining how it's possible there's a lawsuit. A lawsuit itself is not an indication of guilt and it's not prosecutorial. It's just a lawyer with a pen, which from the Godfather book, is said "A lawyer with a briefcase is more powerful than a hundred men with guns"

I think it's different when it's a sitting President, who is their boss, and "just a protectee" which is now as a former POTUS and candidate. A sitting President being protected isn't just about his own safety, it's the nuclear codes and other sensitive info. That is also their repsonsibility. My other guess at this is that the USSS sets up the perimeter and is responsible for that. They are not responsible for the logistics, where the stage is set up, etc. Areas outside of the perimeter... they can't guarantee anything. But there's enough there for a lawyer to think there's a case. If I got to a Tigers game and get shot by someone.... I can sue the hosts of the event. In this scenario Trump's campaign was the host. I worked security for the beaitifucation mass of Fr. Solanus that was held here about 7 years ago. It was at Ford Field. It was a global ceremony and a huge deal. The biggest security event held in that building since the Super Bowl. The Archdiocese was responsible for security even though the FBI and Homeland Security were involved as well.

yeah I think it's just simply teams get an off day Mon-Thur so they had them play Thursday and didn't want to have an empty Monday. Both teams had been playing for 2 weeks or more. I don't know how much say a home team gets in terms of whether a day off is Monday or Tuesday.

I haven't spent too much time digesting reaction to her interview. I watched it. It was fine. She didn't hurt herself and didn't set the world on fire. I don't see any issue with that. But I suspect reaction is once again evidence of a dobule standard. Trump gives an interview and says Trump Stuff, all the wild bat **** ideas and conspiracy theories. Media: That's just how he is Kamala gives a standard matter of fact interview. Nothing crazy. Perhaps a bit of word salad. Doesn't hit a home run though. Media: Critical. A speed bump? Is this a crack? Her interview was pretty much in line with any other candidate's interview over the last 50 years. But she's a black woman facing Trump so there has to be something said about it somehow.

Not disputing that. But are they worth devoting 3-4 hours and $50 in ticket and concession costs when you can see it shortly after? I loved The Iron Claw. I anticipated it, I knew they were making it and couldn’t wait. But I never got around to it when it was in the theater. I’ve watched it maybe 5 times already. Going to the movies is just not a part of a lot of peoples routines anymore. There is so much to watch that people would rather devote 2 hours and bang they a few episodes of a show at home. It’s nobody’s fault. Nobody is doing anything wrong. Just a change in habits by consumers. What I really do resent is this idea being pushed that it’s Marvels fault when I would argue that Marvel has largely propped up the theaters and helped keep them open. Marvel isn’t taking anything away from others. People aren’t choosing to go to those movies instead of something else.
