I'm watching through the replay now and it looks like a conscious decision on their part for sure.
With a lot of the success yesterday, there's a serious platoon split with some of these Tigers hitters (Baez, Grossman come to mind, without looking at the #'s, probably TORK! as well) going against lefties versus righties. Add in that Taylor Hearn isn't the best pitcher (and most Ranger fans were ready to bump him from the rotation before this start), it suggests that it may have been the perfect storm for a big offensive day.
My question is can they do this against right handed starting pitching? Dane Dunning tomorrow, who is a solid if unspectacular righty, will be a good test. I want to see more before thinking this isnt a dead cat bounce
