In all honesty, the ruling class in its entirety is full of people corrupted by wealth, who are used to never being told “no“ and who do abominable stuff because there’s never any other adults in the room to stop them. In the early 1970s a supporter of the Black Panthers told me “everything you buy is produced by a pig.” At the time I thought that was an extreme statement, but 50 years after the fact, I see it was prescient. I would never tell other people how to spend their money, but if you don’t want to buy it, pirate it it then because Plur1bus is really good.

My impression is that Tim Cook won't be in charge much longer.  I guess he really botched a lot of A.I. oriented stuff and Apple has fallen behind, but trust me - the employees there are not happy about giving trophies to the dictator.

I totally called the latest development in The Pitt. I didn't think it would happen in that episode, but I just had a feeling that character wasn't on the same arc as Season 1.

I threw on Pine Barrens while I'm working and although i've seen it over a dozen times, have done full series rewatches at least 6 times... it still blows me away what a great episode it is.  In some ways it might be underrated because of the scenes in the woods.... take those out and it's still one of the best.  So much happened.

If you like the show..... watch it again.  I bet you'll be surprised like I was.
