chasfh Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Has anyone started watching The Audacity on AMC? I saw the first ep this past week and ep 2 dropped last night. I’ll put it this way: I’ll give it one more episode to show me why I should care even a little about any of those characters. Quote
oblong Posted April 28 Posted April 28 such an awesome show. We started watching a few months ago. We haven't binged it. We save it for when we have nothing heavier or longer to watch. It always leaves you with an uplifting feeling when you finish watching. Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Great series The Madison on Paramount+. Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell or fabulous. A special treat Matthew Fox (Jack Shepard from lost) is fantastic. Quote
oblong Posted May 5 Posted May 5 A stand alone episode of The Bear was released. It takes place “before” the show and follows Richie and Mike on a work related trip to Gary, Indiana 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Given that I already had Apple TV up and had stopped watching the game at Comerica against the Blue Jays, I was re-watching E-7 of Plur1bus, and noticed at the end of the credits - past which I always fast forward - that they were playing a Muzak elevator music version of the 5th Dimension’s 1969 hit Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In. It was the first thing today that truly made me laugh. You’re welcome… Quote
oblong Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Today is the 40 year anniversary of the Dallas episode where Bobby Ewing “came back” from the dead by appearing in the shower to close out the season. (He died the previous season in their cliff hanger. It all ended up being a dream). Patrick Duffy’s in town at comic con and someone shared these photos where he’s having fun with it Quote

I watched the first 2 episodes and absolutely hated every single character. I know the point was to not like them, that they were sex-obsessed creeps, but you have to have SOMETHING in a character to latch onto. Quote
Deleterious Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I enjoyed S1 and am looking forward to S2. Not sure how they do a S3 without Hardy. He is pretty important to the show. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Sounds like they didn't even have a chance to give him a meaningful death at the end of season 2. He'll end up being killed off screen between seasons or something. Quote
oblong Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The end of Colbert’s show was great. Goose bump inducing then this last night. He did joke about it during his last monologue. 2 Quote

Shout out to the two ladies whose show that is normally. They were good. The lady who was serving as his assistant at the show is a cutie. She captured Michigan-chick-stressed-out-by-situation very well. If we are going to have Jeff Daniels, Eminem and Jack White as the go to celebrities, Jack is my favorite. Quote

Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson were absent unfortunately. Quote
