Oh heck, they've been looking forward to breaking game time sweat this week.
buddha
teams will probably try hard for a little bit. nobody wants to be the team that actually loses to detroit and breaks the streak.

Sure, nobody wants to be that team. But the Pistons are playing against themselves as well as the opponent right now, and this game is on the road. There's always a chance. But besides youthful inconsistency, I don't see anything from Wednesday to build off of to think that tonight could be the end of the streak. buddha
the chargers just got embarassed on national tv and they fired the coach and gm the next day. the pistons are getting embarassed EVERY NIGHT and nothing happens. the nba stepped in and stopped the sixers "process," will they do the same thing here? the nba is a series of franchises under the guise of a centralized league that runs things. when will the league decide that this embarassment to its product is enough and remove the leadership of its worst run franchise? I wonder if in an odd way, the fact that both the Spurs and the Pistons are a such a mess simultaneously inhibits the league from doing anything about ether team for lack wanting to end up in the middle of a debate about 'why not the other one' or having to deal with both of them at once. Deleterious
You have to hope Williams is doing his best Gene Hackman impersonation. At the start of Hoosiers when his friend asks him what he is doing. Hackman says he has to break down the boys and build them back up again the right way. Please be doing that. Please. buddha
longest losing streak in franchise history. hey, remember when we traded up into the first round to draft a tiny shooting guard? what a great move that was! about as good as using our cap space to trade two second round picks for the corpse of joe harris!
