romad1 Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Michigan weathering the storm of MSU coming back from 18 down might not have happened even during some of our best Beliein teams. Give credit to Dusty May. Its obvious to me that Michigan's team isn't filled with plucky upstarts but professionals. Also, that game was way more intense than a tournament game. Quote
buddha Posted February 2 Posted February 2 michigan-msu getting a little salty. from izzo's usual pout fest and baby attitude when he doesnt win to dusty calling fears out for dirty play. spicy. Quote
buddha Posted February 5 Posted February 5 watching msu-minnesota. fears has already received a tech for kicking a guy in the balls. earlier he hit the guy in the throat. then he just hit him in the head. he's the black grayson allen. total dirty player. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Carson Cooper really should have kept his mouth shut after losing to Michigan. Dude is getting clowned all over the internet tonight. Quote

RedTeamGo! Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Michigan is a great team this year. With that said, OSU is just complete ass and has been for years. Team totally quit with 5 minutes left in the game. That reflects very poorly on Diebler. He really has to go. I bet they give him another year, for some unknown reason, though. Bruce Thornton should have transferred years ago, only player on OSU worth a damn. Quote
Shinzaki Posted February 9 Posted February 9 UM's frontcourt is awfully impressive...would love to see Lendeborg in Detroit Quote

I mean, I would love it if he were on my Dayton Flyers, but dude is 23 years old and is clearly an NBA talent. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Michigan dropped 91 on Purdue and really dominated throughout. Anything less than an appearance in the championship game in March Madness will be a let down. Even only making the Final Four will be a letdown. This is Michigan's best team in a while, they have swagger, and they back it up in big games like last night. Quote

I mean, they are absolutely excellent, but comparing this to previous teams Michigan has had is kind of silly. Top 4 players are mercenaries. At least one of which is a 23 year old that should be playing in the NBA as he would have been a first round pick last year but Michigan is paying him more than he would make as a 1st round draft pick. It is wild. (to be clear I am not saying this is a negative, it is just fact). Anything less than a championship banner this year for Michigan is an unequivocal failure. buddha Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago If anyone knows what "the best team money can buy" looks like, its an ohio state football fan. 🙂 This is the new Michigan hater narrative. mercenaries. best team money can buy. All the best teams are "the best teams money can buy." duke? come on. Michigan's most talented team - the fab five - was paid for by ed martin. a young Lew Alcindor was taking a bag at ucla. Its ALWAYS been the "best team money can buy", the only difference now is that you buy a new team every year. at least you do if youre smart and want to win. putting together a team and coaching it is impressive. it's very impressive what michigan and dusty may have done. 1 Quote
RedTeamGo! Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Like I said, it’s not a negative and I am not hating. It’s fact, tho. Duke‘s best player is a teenage freshman, an actual college aged kid. Michigan’s best player is a grown ass man that should be playing in the NBA right now. I’m sorry but it’s fact. I am only saying it’s ship or bust this year for UM. Quote

Deleterious Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 56 minutes ago, RedTeamGo! said: strong disagree I can't prove he wouldn't be a 1st rounder. But the odds were definitely leaning more towards him being a 2nd rounder. Givony had him ranked 28th, and he is one of the better draft analysts around. Don't forget, Yaxel kept his name in the draft after announcing he would play for Michigan. He said his goal was to find a guaranteed (Meaning a 1st round pick) contract. He didn't want to bounce around the G-League. The fact he remained in college would suggest he wasn't very convinced he would be a 1st round pick. UAB star big man Yaxel Lendeborg commits to Michigan Quote Lendeborg, the No. 28 prospect in ESPN's draft projections, will also declare for the NBA draft while maintaining his NCAA eligibility. He said he is committed to first exploring the draft process, with the goal of securing assurances of a multiyear contract from an NBA team before he would forgo the opportunity to play at Michigan. "I'm focused on the draft process and making the NBA right now," Lendeborg said. "I want a guaranteed contract. That's the biggest thing, make sure I am in a good spot. I would prefer to play college basketball in Ann Arbor than be in and out of the G League on a two-way. I want to find a safe spot." Quote
