they were a top 10 team preseason and the co-favorite to win the big ten.

this was not supposed to be a "transition" year, this was a final four contender.

And at the end of the day I'm not stressed.   Football is a lot harder to turn around.  Our freshman and transfer haul this season didn't measure up.  I thought Hunter + this group would be awesome.  Maybe they still will be after they figure things out.  This MBB program has earned some slack.

They aren't nearly as interesting.  Its like watching them flail away is fun and all but they don't have elite status.

watching the nba (non pistons edition), with their floor spacing and shooting and athleticism, is so different than watching college ball.

i saw that first half last night and was just amazed at how many layups players can miss, not to mention open jumpers.

Lunardi still has Michigan out of the tournament, only reason I'm surprised by that is that their BPI is 24 and I thought that was the biggest metric the committee used but Lunardi is rarely wrong so if he still has them out I'm going to trust him.

Another big road win at Iowa city. 6 games left, 4 against ranked opponents. They can't get to 20 wins but with that schedule they don't need to to make the tourney, if they can win some more of them!

they need to be over 500 in conference play.  if so, they'll probably squeak in.
