tiger2022 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 (edited) This will be a tough match up for Mize, although Boston has lost 6 out of 8. Hopefully he can change speeds effectively. Edited August 30, 2024 by tiger2022 Quote

IdahoBert Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Congratulations to @Jim Cowan on Woodsie’s definitive victory in stage 13 of La Vuelta a Espana. Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Mize is not yet listed on the MLB website as the pitcher for tonight’s game. I don’t know if there’s a certain time of the day when he can be officially activated or not. Or if this is one of those little tricks to mess with the opposing team and keep them guessing. I find it hard to believe that the Red Sox would be tripping over their own own feet about who they’re going to face though. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 at least it isn't Faedo's hip again. One more round with that and you'd have to think it was something chronic. Still, between shoulder, hip, TJ he's turning into a guy you never get much out of. Quote

IdahoBert Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Well, we’re gonna have to score at least two runs tonight. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 I do not like seeing political ads on mlb.tv. I watch baseball to get away from that not to be subjected to it. 2 Quote

Before his injury, his last 3 or 4 starts were his best of the year, but that season after Tommy John is almost always a rough one. I knew that coming into the season. I think if he hadn't had the injury he would have settled into a groove - but it all got disrupted. Patience, man, patience. Quote
