Dan Dickerson had a pretty raw critique of the A’s ownership for destroying 60 years of Oakland A’s tradition so he can go to “a city with no baseball tradition.“ Not exactly the corporate ass kissing line you would expect.

As well he should. A sign of a good journalist. And he's SO good, he has no worries about a job. He's a true professional.

I guess everyone else has better things to do than follow this game, and so have I. I decided to finish watching the last 40 minutes of Jason Statham‘s “Crank 2“ after watching the first Crank movie this morning and see nothing much has happened in four innings of this snooze fest so I am now ready for action.

Burned out for the day with the Michigan butt kicking. I'll watch this one after the fact if they win....

The Oakland Athletics have some hitters I would love to have on our team, but they have somehow managed to lose 9 more games than our club has so something must be suspect about their pitching so hopefully this chink in their armor will become apparent later in the game

I am truly not interested in any drama accruing to this game in the bottom of the 9th. I was elated, dropkicked, beat up,left for dead and continually resurrected then finally murdered again in the alley of this series in last night’s contest and I’m not interested in reliving that nightmare. Just get the damn job done.

Thank God. I’m glad it was easy for some reason to close this one out. Also, I haven’t been able to connect to the site for the last 30 minutes or so. I don’t know if it was me or the site.

I tossed and turned until 4:00 AM...EST.

Kriedler works a walk which will raise his season OPS of .363. Don't think I've ever seen a non pitcher or early season/extreme small sample lower than that.

Nice little day—28th wedding anniversary (celebrating at the Chicago restaurant where I proposed many years ago).  Tigers win, Sparty wins, Michigan loses.

Couldn’t draw it up any better.

We went to see Beetlejuice 2.  And had dinner at…. Outback.   A place I haven’t been in 20 years. But someone got us a gift card so we had to use it.  I saw the game on a TV far away in the restaurant.

Outback hasn’t changed at all.  Not the menu.  Not the decor. Even the prices weren’t much different. We talked about going there on our first vacation together in 1995.  It was over $50 before tip and that was my threshold back then for an expensive meal.  This meal was $75 with 2 drinks and an appetizer.

Beetlejuice 2 was fun.  Very fun.

Busy during, but watching the recording now.  I think it’s just the annual tradition of sports fans delving into football.

The Tigers just took the lead, or maybe the A’s just gave up the lead, I’m not sure.  Whichever, I hope the wildcats can win yesterday.
