Can you imagine if Barack Obama posted something like that on his social media?

Literally anyone else does this and right-wing Catholics would be baying for their blood.

But from the pig-king? It’s all good.

To be clear, while Trump is deeply unserious when it comes to matters of state, he is heart-attack serious about making serious money and achieving unlimited and illimitable power off his situation. Everything is a tool and everyone is a pawn in this relentless quest.

Yeah, I have some older relatives that are very Catholic, including one who is a deacon, and I know they voted for Trump in the past.  Between this stunt and the recent commentary by the cunt from Georgia, I'm curious how they try to explain this away.  And however they try, I ain't buying it.

TIL that cunt is OK, but the **** that pairs up with it is not.

All these cardinals are total losers. One of them, a big burly man with tears in his eyes, came to me the other day and said sir, you should be pope. You’d be the best pope, because popes until now have been weak.
I would be a great pope, like you’ve never seen before. Did you know popes go back over 1,000 years? Nobody knew that. But I asked, why is all this stuff in Latin, a language nobody ever heard of? Everyone knows Jesus spoke English, which is the only language anyone understands.
Did you know popes get to change their name from their real name to a pope name? Like Francis, what kind of name is that? It’s a pretty stupid name, a weak name. I’m gonna keep my name, Donald Jesus Trump. This will all happen soon, very soon, in about two weeks.

Is it good or bad that I had to remind myself that you wrote this, and not the Golden Idol?

In other words, nicely done!

I'll come clean, it was A-I

Former National Security Advisor HR McMaster on CBS just blamed Obama for Rubio and JD Vance supporting the Nazi Afd party in Germany.

Auditioning for the job?

Well, good thing that's settled. 🙄

https://www.axios.com/2025/05/04/trump-third-term-tariffs-nbc

President Trump threw cold water on the notion of seeking a third term in 2028 — an idea that has gained currency in some MAGA circles despite being unconstitutional, Axios' Alex Isenstadt writes.

  • "This is not something I'm looking to do. I'm looking to have four great years and turn it over to somebody, ideally a great Republican, a great Republican to carry it forward," Trump told NBC News' Kristen Welker in a "Meet the Press" interview airing this morning.

Why it matters: Trump has teased the possibility of running again. He said in March that he wasn't "joking" about the possibility, and that "there are methods" by which he could seek another term, despite the 22nd Amendment prohibiting it.

...

He won't fire Fed Chair Jay Powell: Trump backed away from his threat last month to remove Powell before his term ends in 2026, saying: "No, no, no. That was a total – why would I do that? I get to replace the person in another short period of time."

He has these moments where he says normal things.  He could easily reverse these opinions tomorrow.  It could be that he liked the way the interviewer was treating him or he doesn't think MAGA watches Meet The Press.

Trump has been mentally ill his entire life though.

Please do not equate the stupid, ignorant, arrogant drivel that spews from his mouth with anything a person with dementia may say.   There is no equivalence whatsoever.

Trump hasn’t ever been intelligent. Trump hasn’t an educated bone in his body. Trump hasn’t ever done anything with anyone but himself in mind.

He hasn’t “gotten worse”. This is who he has always been, he just now has attention and a platform 24/7.

His brain is continuously leaking out of his ears so he can't control what he says from moment to moment.
