what do you call it when a person makes an error that breaks the law?  And those who abet the person in that error?

But if the President does it it's not breaking the law. The MAGA Court ruled on that last year

I’m interested to hear the maga spin on the latest “personal time” fiasco.    There is no personal time for the President where he’s just allowed to go off the clock and avoid all of the rules and disclosures of the office.

This an error in their interpretation of what’s allowed and what’s not.   There’s no logical way to defend it.  I am sure they will come up it with something about Biden, Obama, or Hillary.  It always does.

Really well put.

Related to this, there is no scenario where it is OK for the President to “joke” or be “sarcastic” about things that affects America and the world, e.g., his promise to end the Russia Ukraine war in 24 hours being “sarcastic”, or his initially “joking” about gunning for a third term. The President can’t just let down his guard and say anything he wants and them claim he wasn’t being serous. The President is on the clock 24/7/365 (and 366 in leap years), and they must know everything they say can, should, and will be taken seriously.

But, of course, this president has been getting with it all so far. It’s so aggravating.

I read these Presidential rants and constantly get flashbacks to a  Jason Robarts, Martin Balsom movie of the 1960s "A Thousand Clowns". In the movie an unemployed TV writer (Roberts) occasionally berates his neighbors on the quality of their garbage.

A quick Google search tells me that your average iPhone factory worker in China is making around $2.90 an hour.   Sure would like to see one of Trump's lackeys be asked how you move production to the USA without significantly raising prices for consumers.

That's actually higher than I expected.

Say the word Nazi and look who shows up with evidence that proves Trump did in fact deny North Carolina's request for FEMA funds. You can go away now.

Do you have any comment on  the tornados that just hit Missouri, Southern Illinois and Kentucky??? And the fact that the feds (under Trump) have been apparently MIA there?

Who the thunder is Grok and how trustworthy is he. Assuming it's a he because no one would name their daughter that. Plus how can we trust a post from someone who constantly hits and runs never defending his posts.

Back to Grok, is this a Right Winger from Saskatchewan?

I tend to trust those who do their own research and don't outsource their thinking to "Grok"....

But maybe I'm just old fashioned like that.

Since we're talking about it, isn't there some irony to the "dO yOuR oWn ReSeArCh" crowd now outsourcing their cerebral cortex to Musk's ****ty AI?

Only because they're too lazy to do it themselves
