So since some Epstein survivors are supposed to speak out on Wednesday, September 3, I have a feeling the next day ot 2 will be filled with gigantic distractions from them. Trump not making any appearances and all this health speculation, …. this is a way to make the next couple of days worth headline stories be all about him.
I just have a feeling this is all a very calculated way to take away coverage from their story on Wednesday.

He always seems like such a force, but in truth you know Trump is the walking casebook of stroke candidacy - and that could be just a terrible outcome. Imagine Trump with some partial  disability or esp an outcome that is clearly personality altering.

But if he is on the way to a Doc, it's probably a bunion.

The trouble is I’ve not seen any of these updates from reputable sources or at least ones I’ve recognized.  I haven’t searched it out and may be out of the loop, I admit. But I have been burned too many times getting excited over “this time Trumps really going down” events from the Eric Garland’s and the Seth Abramsons of the world

Doesn't matter if it is reputable if it says what you want it to say...

This is brilliant strategy. Finally, the Dems fighting Trump at his own shady game that values perception over truth.

I don’t think it’s unusual for a President to duck out of the spotlight on Wednesday before Labor Day weekend when Congress is  not in session.  It’s not a big deal to set out a vague Presidential announcement on his daily schedule where he most likely announce some made up trade deal.

They are taking every opportunity to hit on Trump’s age, health, and potential cognitive ability. They are not letting what may not even be true hold them back and keeping it in the forefront of the press cycle and making it a story.  It’s the strategy that got Trump in office and it may be the only one that will get him out of it.

Flip side, if a mainstream media outlet were to report on or speculate on this at this point, the world’s hair would be on fire. That’s different from Fox, which freely dabbled in this kind of thing but they are such an unprofessional media outlet that no one takes them seriously when they do.

I believe MSM standards are such that they can’t freely post every minor or speculative item of this sort. That said, Trump is already regarded as being in such poor health that just because these minor outlets show and report on this kind of thing doesn’t mean it can’t be true. They do pass the smell test, unlike Fox speculating on Biden’s health whenever any doctor ever signed the White House log. But yes, there does need to be a information from them before we can take it heart attack seriously.

If there ever was a statement that defined this political section this is it.  It doesn't matter how true something is as long as it says what you want.  No wonder you can't have a legitimate conversation or debate in this group!

The Dude who desperately craves a Peace Prize is planning on renaming the Department of Defense Department of War. How 1949 of him

I honestly, truly am starting to believe they actually discuss what is the worst thing they can do to hurt and upset the most people possible before choosing the thing.

I do.  Because polling and approval ratings and traditional optics no longer apply.

When it was just the Army it was the War Dept. The National Security act merged the Navy into one command structure and it was named Department of Defense in 1949.

If by chance TACO is trying to call it restoring history, half right. Which matches hi educational grades

Michigan gas prices hit a new high in 2025, Midwest refinery outage blamed

For Labor Day, gas prices up in Michigan, hitting new high https://share.google/oGd5HnCBlkYvGO66T

Whiting is BP's largest refinery, in my experience in the industry, BP was its worst worst operator.

But things will only get worse at US refineries. US gasoline consumption has been flat since 2017. The 4 million EVs on US roads have already eliminated the production of one medium size refinery from the market, and the rapid increase in the numbers of hybrids, plug-in hybrids and EVs displacing ordinary IC vehicles is a pretty solid guarantee that the US is now turning the corner past 'peak oil.'  As the existing refineries fight for market share to keep their operating factors up, margins will be squeezed, maintenance will be deferred, and more refineries will end up down on an 'unscheduled' basis.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys. :classic_laugh:
