For the record, I am and have been a long time proponent of diplomacy and dialog. Even if it's with some of the most despicable people in the world. Anytime we can avoid conflict or war and find a peaceful solution, I'm all for it. I had no problem for example when Trump met with Kim of North Korea. I actually commended him for the attempted diplomatic relations and still do.

This was not that though. This was not likely good faith diplomacy. This was one grifter meeting with another. Why, I don't know. We need more details and transparency on this one. I can only imagine if Barack Obama tried to do something like this though. It would be a full scale, nuclear meltdown over it happening for weeks, months, and years to come.
