I had a Lincoln around the same time and didn't have beef with them except the dealer sucked.  Much happier in a different US car with better dealer service.

So, the wife says that the Ford CEO was fawning all over Trump. She's got an ax to grind with Ford since she owned a Focus and they screwed her on repairing the crap transmission the thing had.  She promised never to buy another Ford because the CEO was treating this criminal like a normal president.

She might be referring to..

I mean, if we mocked Trump we'd have to bring teenage girls out naked so he could watch them strip and change. But that would be a pretty lude and disgusting thing to watch publicly. Trump would enjoy it I'm sure. He seemed to enjoy it at the beauty pageant when he walked in on them.

for all the political noise going on you'd expect people to show up given a chance to vote, but just like the one MB posted about recently, nobody voted in this one either. 1725 votes total cast at 95% counted. So that 11 point over performance was all of 190 people in district of probably 25K registered voters.

Imagine that...all the goodwill Ford got from rebuilding the Michigan Central...

I doubt Bill Ford Jr has suddenly turned 180 politically. He's trying not to make additional trouble for his company, which is having enough trouble right now getting product out the door that doesn't have to come back.

Krupp must have been going through something similar in the 30s.

So, to clarify...my wife thought WCF was the CEO, not me.  I knew the CEO was Jim Farley.  Jim Farley who constantly is preaching to his company about the threat from BYD and thinks EVs are a future path.  Whatever WCF thinks is relevant but Farley is likely not the person calling the WH and the POS POTUS about wanting to destroy the planet.

We are maybe weeks away from seeing agents punching and stomping people they pull out of cars into unconsciousness or death, and also, ripping cameras and phones from nearby people, smashing them, and beating those people to a bloody pulp, too.

The biggest danger is that we simply get used to seeing it and then just tune it out. Then it’ll just be Katie bar the door.

When these ICE goons are doing whatever it is they're doing in MN.... how does that make our "borders secure"?
