in the context...the person who gets access to classified information signs an NDA to protect the information.   That is also wrapped up in a raft of classification regulation in which you are not allowed to use classification to protect the reputation of the organization.   However, Doofusmctrumpusface won't understand that and will conflate them with the NDAs he made his employees sign to protect...unflattering information.

Definitely a legal document, but you can't use it to hide behind illegal acts.  As a public official, no idea if it is even legal to sign an NDA related to your work though.  

What I mean by a legal document is the law can’t come after you.  Poor choice of words. It’s not a criminal act to “break” one. Nobody will arrest you.  If you sign one and I thjnk you break it by only course of action is to sue. I can’t call the cops or city hall.

That’s what I am getting at.  What a government employee signs because of their job and the data they have access to is not th same thing as Trump making his whores sign so they won’t talk about his sick or his employees won’t talk about tbhim young girls visiting mar a Lago.

Yeah...I didn't go into why he would think it meant one thing and not the other when i brought it up as a lever on his people who leave.  However, they do probably also have sweetheart deals set up for them so they don't roll.  Or, he's got goons threatening them.  

I think Trump Inc. knows how to intimidate and cajole their risks.

Right - a corporate NDA can only lead at most to a civil suit. If you are dealing with classified information you are subject to criminal sanctions under various Federal Statutes. FTM even if you never signed anything!

I would like to think that even Trump doesn't want to escalate to nuclear.  My guess is Hegseth got rid of those guys as they were the ones that said not to invade Iran and in current meetings, probably pointing out stupid adult things like 'well, we shouldn't do that sir, that could cause X'.  

I'm not going to pretend I fully understand all ethics regarding military service and how they should operate at that level, regardless if they retire or are let go, but if it is related to acts they believe are War Crime or Nuclear, I do believe its in the Nations best interest that they share their side of the story with the media.
