In the first Trump administration there were some qualified cabinet members, but with a short shelf life- they bailed out or were cast out. This time around the starting cast was much less competent. Even better is that he’s still keeping him as the head of FHFA and Chairman of Fannie/Freddie.  There’s no way that any person can do all of these jobs at once.  It’s impossible to do even semi-effectively.
