yesterday, Trump told a long story about a conversation he had with his uncle about Ted Kaczynski, who his uncle taught at MIT, recalling they were so surprised that he turned out to be the Unabomber.

Except, Kaczynski never went to MIT and his uncle died a decade before anyone knew who the Unabomber was.

You know it just struck me: Trump is the first AI President. When he doesn't know stuff, he just makes it up out of plausably related pieces! He is the man of his time!

Jon Stewart returned just in time to spend the entire election both siding and going on about Biden's age. He said he would be ok if Trump won. I wish he would go back to ****ing goats or whatever it was he was doing the past 10 years.

And Stewart is exactly the kind of holier than thou lib that make Red America vote the way they do, so he could at least have made himself practically useful to the blue side, which he didn't.

but he has been a cultural icon in the culture that Red America is reactionary toward. In that sense, of course he doesn't influence red America.

6 million people who voted for Biden didn't vote for Harris in 2024. I definitely think that could be influenced by the likes of Stewart. His schtick was fine 20 years ago but times have changed and the stakes of this last election were to great.
