If she said 'can you put this on your social media' to show everyone what I did, I would have had to tell her it wasn't funny or original enough to be shared and I would have had to remind her she's 7 and to stop acting like a baby and get a real sense of humor.

So, is Trump the 7 year old in this scenario?

recent polling show independents deserting Trump in droves  but he's still got 85% approvals from GOP. 30% of this country have checked their brains at the door. That's pretty sad.

He's got the intellect of one. So yes, Trump is the 7 year old. The difference is, most 7 year olds I've known aren't racist and even if they were racially influenced by bigoted people in their lives, could still be given the opportunity to learn, grow, and change. But most 7 year olds didn't refuse to rent houses to blacks, want to see innocent persons of color put to death, or pull black dealers off the casino floor to satisfy racist white patrons. If a 7 year old opens a lemonade stand and refuses to sell lemonade to black customers then maybe we can talk and use that as a teachable moment about equality and racism.

I truely believe he has no intellect.  He does have a certain kind of smarts which allows him to manipulate people to no end, but his intellect (ability to use logic and analyze complex things) is pretty much nonexistent.  Some people still think he's just pretending to be dumb and just messing with us, but I think what you see is what he is.  That is what might save us, although we won't necessarily be safe from his handlers.

You have enough of a track record here that I don't think anyone here would conclude that you're in the same category as Bunker et al, but in your desperate quest to always be 50-50 even-handed at all times, the suggestion that the Obama ape post might or might not have been racist, but that the real crime was that it simply was not funny, just landed wrong. The raw, uncut racism renders the comedy question irrelevant.

I don't know whether I saw it posted here or elsewhere, but I recently saw something to the effect of Nazi Germany worked for a while because they were able to get 1/3 of the population mobilized to subdue the remaining 2/3 of the population.

True. He either posted that meme or approved it. Its just shows a certain amount of stupidity. I mean, how many times has he said something stupid and his base has to comes out and said he was only kidding? His mouth works faster than his brain, which is deteriorating quickly.
