Or, land on a number of Super Conferences either 4 with 20 teams or 8 with 10 teams or 8 with 8 teams.   The champion of each conference goes to a playoff.   Take voting committees out of it.    Sorry Notre Dame, choke on it.

Maybe Michigan should hire Tony Annese from Ferris State after they won a 4th straight National Title lol. What the hell, it worked for Ohio State hiring Jim Tressel from Youngstown State.

Can’t wait for this “super league” to form, further shut out the MACs and WACs and whatnots, but then still schedule them for “out of super league” games.

Maybe that's why he's in no hurry.     If he hires someone - he might be out.   But since there is no University President right now, they kind of have to keep him.    I doubt there is a strong #2 in the department (by design).

I actually don't think it's the worst idea.       He's very plugged into Ann Arbor and the whole state and he managed to keep Jayru Campbell out of trouble for a few years.

I think Warde would be out there working - if they are letting him. I think the question is does he even have sanction to do anything or has he be been told to tread water until Grasso and the regents get their postmortem report from their investigators and they decide if he stays.

They paint a picture of a coach who became increasingly volatile before his firing and subsequent arrest and arraignment on felony and misdemeanor charges for alleged crimes against the staffer.

Moore would break down sobbing in staff meetings and lash out at other coaches, according to three program sources who witnessed the behavior. i dont see how warde manuel could survive this other than they dont want to pay a buyout and they dont want to fore a black AD after firing two high profile black coaches in less than 3 years.

just more mess at michigan.  must be a day that ends in Y.

no argument on that but it's reality that every day he is still there is increasing the odds he's not going anywhere. Another factor is the U is basically shut down until almost the 2nd week in Jan so in the sense that communication across the admin system is going to be sluggish the clock may be somewhat stopped for a decision on Warde even though the football season itself is running overtime in the playoffs and an AD that is still alive needs to be in the middle of his coach search. It's sort of a mismatched situation.
