Notable that after how badly the trajectory of these two teams seemed to be diverging after 3 games, we come into this series only one game behind the Yankee's pace. The bronx bombers have scored a ton of runs, but they have also given up as many as the Tigers have scored.

The air will be cold but the breeze will be out to left today and tomorrow. Some advantage for the Tigers' RHH with the Yanks starting a lefty.

What I found interesting about Seattle's ballpark is that you still feel the April chill and still feel like you're outdoors even when the retractable roof is closed. It's just enough to block the rain.

That’s a good point. The Yankees lineup today sports guys who have collectively hit 23 home runs while our lineup has guys who have hit 5 home runs.

That's wild to have 25HRs in just 370 PAs as a team. If that was a single player that would be like what a 40HR pace for a full season?

So as a team they are hitting HRs at a rate that the top 1% of HR hitters would be happy with.

By all rights this game today should be an mlb.tv “free game of the day“ simply because the Yankees are playing in it but instead the free game of the day is a Giants game.

FWIW We just cancelled all sporting events today at the district I work for due to the weather. It's brutal out there and none of us liked the idea of high school kids throwing baseballs in this weather.
