McGonigle at WM - 5 for 5 today, avg up to .429, ops 1.243 in 77 at-bats. Erie must be calling soon.

I saw Lynn on twitter earlier say that you should expect McGonigle and likely Clark to be at Erie come Tuesday. I don't know if that is just a prediction or if that is what he has heard from Tigers folks.

I think he may jump into top 10 prospects in all of MLB.

Dude will play in the bigs next season.  Now it’s just about getting reps cause he’s been on the DL quite a bit as a professional. Erie is looming.  Starts in Toledo next season and a short drive away.

Position side is as good as it's ever been, but is a pitching shortage looming around the corner? Hall isn't pitching and Hamm and Melton aren't particularly exciting.

pitchers are always going to get injured, but it "feels" like they have an above average number of pitching prospects hurt right now.

i think all of Hall, Schiefelbein, Massey, Swanson are injured, so 4 of your top 5 2024 picks (by $) are out.

P Wilson has been horrible and injured. Jake Miller was surging, but he is injured. Blake Dickerson, injured. Wilmer Flores has ben injured for 3 years.

Dylan Smith finally got healthy an jumped all the way to Detroit. maybe Mattison does the same? Ty Madden could return this year.

I imagine this draft will likely be pitching heavy.

They went pitching-heavy in the last draft, outside of Rainer. Right now unfortunately a lot of those picks are injured which I mean is the harsh possibility when drafting pitchers.

I think you are underestimating Melton; Assuming he isn't dealt, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a few starts in Detroit later this year and makes a run at the rotation next spring training.
