Seems like every series they are facing a good team.  And by good I mean hovering around .500

I'm still in "this is all very fun and there's no stress" mode.  Frankly I have come to accept that I'm happy with players doing well and if they win, all the better.  It's fun to watch these guys play. I feel like every player can do something in every at bat.  Sure the bullpen is iffy at times but that's all bullpens.

Our bullpen has a tendency to keep falling behind hitters. There's nothing worse than a reliever coming in and nibbling around the corners...throw strikes!

Wenceel Perez recalled off rehab..Matt Vierling placed on IL with shoulder inflammation...damn.

Hmm, this is why every time someone says/asks - 'When we are at Full Strength who is going to be sent down?' I just shrug at it because NO team is ever at 'Full Strength' except during the off season, lol.

Teams need a lot of Depth this day and age.

Look at that Toledo lineup...plenty of guys who can come up for a few weeks to fill in gaps. We just can't have debilitating injuries to our core guys.

What? God these guys are so fragile.

I guess the panoply of what a baseball player is expected to do to properly function is so diverse that just about anything can put them on the IL.

I was watching the 16th stage of the Giro d’Italia cycling race today and they mentioned one young guy who broke three ribs the stage before, but he was still racing today.

Different sports can favor greater or lesser ranges of motion. Cycling is about endurance with a fixed set of ranges of motion. But you do have to be able to ride five or six hours up a mountain and burns 6000 cal doing it.

I’ve seen cyclists dislocate their shoulder, sit down on a curb and pop it back into place and jump back on the bike.

Baseball is more nuanced with a host of fine motor skills that other sports don’t require.

I was annoyed to read there was no feed on MLB. Is this an Apple game or some such shenanigans?

I’m watching Jason and Andy right now on mlb.tv
