IdahoBert Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 I just checked and Sawyer is on the roster, but nobody has been taken off the roster and right now at least on the MLB site the Tigers have 27 players which can’t be right. Maybe I caught it moments after it happened and they haven’t taken whomever they’re taking off the roster. Quote

Key details: Injury: Right hamstring tightness/soreness. Status: Scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game. Availability: Listed as day-to-day, but available to pinch hit in the game. Previous issues: This is not the first time Carpenter has experienced hamstring issues. Reason for scratching: To avoid a more serious injury. Replacement in lineup: Wenceel Perez started in right field and batted fifth. The extent of the injury is unclear, but the Tigers are hopeful it is minor and for precautionary reasons.
