I prefer a gm who builds a strong farm and values prospects. I don’t want him to make a trade unless it’s a good value and I don’t want him making a trade that isn’t a good value simply because he feels pressure to fill a perceived hole. 2 Quote

It looks like they gave up their #8 and #15 ranked prospects in their organization. Hao-Yu Lee and Jaden Hamm? Liranzo straight up? Seems like we could have topped the Yankees for sure. Oh well. Yes, maybe Harris does not want to part with his top prospects. Yet, we still have several (5-10 types, along with JHM, Jung, etc.) that could still bring someone back - if we can pull it off. I am thinking one more move. Maybe one of Colorado's late inning RPs or even a surprise starter/position player. Depends on what Harris IS willing to move. If not, we are a bit better, but not a whole lot. All IMHO. Quote

The most disappointing guys we didn’t get for me are Bednar and Duran. I think they both went for fair value and would have filled areas of need beyond this year. If we somehow get Jax and/or Ryan from the Twins I won’t be sad we missed out on the others. I’m good with who we got and what we gave up for them, and wouldn’t have wanted to do what the Padres did. LongLiveMaroth Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I just want to point out Correa has not been good this year. 0.1 WAR .704 OPS on the year. 1 Quote

lordstanley Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I look forward to the Friday night game when Casey and Finnegan dress up in City Connect uniforms to combine for 9 well-pitched innings.* *I expect that only Canadians - or viewers of Windsor's Channel 9 in the '70s or '80s - will get that reference. 1 1 Quote
