IdahoBert Posted Sunday at 03:13 PM Posted Sunday at 03:13 PM Skubal has shown mild signs of being human lately such as walking guys, and he can give up a home run on occasion. If the Tigers can keep hitting the ball a win should be well within reach, but the bats have been hot and cold on occasion lately and I hope they don’t go cold tonight. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Sunday at 03:23 PM Posted Sunday at 03:23 PM The Tigers have scored more runs than any other team in the AL and have also scored more runs than teams such as Philadelphia and the Mets because everyone in the lineup other than Jake, in general, contributes. It would be really nice to see the whole lineup rake tonight. 1 Quote

Tigermojo Posted Sunday at 05:01 PM Posted Sunday at 05:01 PM Will they broadcast ESPN on mlb.tv? Quote

Yeah, I didn't watch his last start but in his defense I think the start before where he "struggled" alot of it had to with the weather and how it effected the mound. There were multiple times he had to have the grounds crew make adjustments to it cause it wasn't comfortable to him. I believe things may have been similar last time too but I don't know for sure cause like I said I didn't get to watch any of it. Atleast I'm hoping these are the reasons why his "struggles" the past two games. Quote

Certainly you don’t get to see it live. I don’t know if you get to see it archived or not after the fact. I’m going to watch it on YouTube TV simply because my son-in-law included me in his subscription. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM It may not always be the case, but I think these ESPN Sunday games tend to be aimed at the lowest common denominator fans who generally want to see teams with splashy stars hitting 60 home runs. The Tigers are not a part of the entertainment industrial complex and I’m not sure if this game was scheduled in advance or scheduled because Skubal is pitching. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 06:20 PM Posted Sunday at 06:20 PM 14-11 for the month of June, 7-7 in past 14, lets have a nice solid win to cap the month and head into July. I turn 58 tomorrow and while the Tigers won’t win my age in time for my birthday, 53 wins by the end of June would be superb. 1 Quote

The guys on the Roku broadcast (Cleveland-St louis) were saying Skubal and the Tigers are must see TV. Called them the best team in baseball and were amazed how we took off after the trade deadline last season after trading and releasing players. ESPN announced tonight's game before they knew Skubal was going. They get lucky... 1 Quote

I hope the Tigers put on a really dominant show. This playing .500 ball thing is tedious even if it’s superior to some of the stretches other big teams have endured. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM Posted Sunday at 07:10 PM Guardians blasted 7-0. Tigers’ lead is up to 11, which I believe is the season high. 1 Quote
romad1 Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM this is amazing to see... Stay healthy...keep on keeping on. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Sunday at 07:50 PM Posted Sunday at 07:50 PM Paddock's last 3 games? 14 innings pitched. 16 earned runs allowed. Only 2 walks allowed though but...16 earned runs? Licking our chops... 1 Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted Sunday at 11:03 PM Posted Sunday at 11:03 PM Our offense has been carried by Riley Greene? Tork, Carl, Gleyber, Javy, McKinstry, Dingler and Keith don’t exist to ESPN apparently Quote
